Fredrick W. Rice, 64, died November 4, 2015 at St. Luke's Home. He was born May 8, 1951 in Utica, a son of the late Edward and Violet Rice and graduated from Clinton Central School. On April 26, 1970, he married his high school sweetheart, Deborah Larmon. Together the couple operated Just Another Bar in Solsville. Fred was a member of the American Legion Post 569 and loved to hang out with his friends. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan and enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; two sons Stacey Rice and his fiancée Patty Peterson of Madison and Fredrick and Kathleen Rice of Madison; three grandchildren, Desiree Rice and Joshua Last, Joseph and Gregory Rice; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Zoey Last; three step-grandchildren Christian, David and Benjamin Peterson; his brothers, sisters and their spouses, Edward Rice, Mark and Joann Rice, Dennis and Jeannie Rice, Keith and Deborah Rice, David and Linda Rice, Sandy and Donald Davidson, Susan and German Quiroz, Penny and Bill Miller, Bridget and Gary Cassidy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, son Tracey Rice, brothers Bradley "Beatnik" and Chris "Boober" and sister in law Sherry Rice. Friends and family are invited to call Monday, November 9, 2015 from 3-5pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. A memorial service will follow Monday at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
