Obituary of Joyce M Bowen

Joyce M. Bowen, 69, of Franklin Ave., passed away July 18, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Utica, NY, on July 14, 1945, the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Maxiner) Bowen. She grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1963. Joyce went to work at Metropolitan Life, in Utica. She also worked at Hayes Bank and NBT Bank in Clinton for many years. Most recently, Joyce worked and retired from St. Joseph's Nursing Home. Joyce is survived by her brother, Donald Ward of Cassville; sisters, Dorothy Howlett of Westmoreland and Judith and Tony Mariotti of Westmoreland; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by the love of her life Tom Infusino. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College Street, Clinton. Burial will be in Deansboro Cemetery. All are invited to call Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. The family sincerely thanks the many doctors and nurses who took care of Joyce at St. Joseph's Hospital, the ICU at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, and the CCU at St. Luke's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a charity of your choice.
